Arrival on August 30th

The students arrived about ten minutes early at Tan San Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon). There is a brand new terminal for international arrivals and departures. Much different than when I was here as a helicopter pilot in 1971!

These pictures show some of the hearty band arriving, tired but otherwise in good spirits.

The next task was to get everything, and everyone, loaded on the bus, which had plenty of seats, but not enough luggage space underneath.
